I got the mug for Christmas from my lovely wife, and this spoon (although carved New Year’s Eve) was the first one I finished in 2019. Here’s to many more.
This is an unfinished eating spoon from a cherry crook. I’m also attempting my first finial on this spoon. I’m excited for the finishing cuts to go on this spoon.

This is the first spoon (coffee scoop, actually) that I’ve made that is going to a different home. I hope you like it Ms. Bobbie Lu! It’s dogswood, and sealed with butcher block conditioner. Still a bunch of things to improve, but this one taught me lots of lessons – most importantly: slow down!
